Glüh Schroth rot

Ingredients

• 4 pieceslarge apples (e.g. Boskoop)
• 100 graw marzipan paste
• 40 gchopped walnuts
• 30 gchopped almonds
• 30 graisins
• 1 tspground cinnamon
• 1 pinchground cloves
• 20 gbutter
• 2 tbsphoney

Preparation

1. 1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat and prepare a small baking dish.
2. 2Wash the apples thoroughly, rub them dry, and generously remove the core using an apple corer.
3. 3Knead the raw marzipan paste thoroughly with the walnuts, almonds, raisins, cinnamon, and cloves.
4. 4Stuff the marzipan and nut mixture evenly into the hollowed-out apples and press down gently.
5. 5Place the stuffed apples in the baking dish, top with butter, and drizzle with honey.
6. 6Bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 25 minutes until the apples are soft.
